English course (ELICOS)

General English

          Students would be enabled to learn the designed structure regarding listening, speaking, reading and writing English by different teaching methods. Grammar is also included in the course although speaking and listening is mainly emphasised.

There are six levels of General English:

The education provider will ask students to sit for the compulsory placement tests during the orientation before commencing the General English course. Thus, students will be placed in the class best suited to their level of English proficiency.


English for Academic Purposes(EAP)

           EAP is an intensive course for students planning to enrol in a university, either at an undergraduate or postgraduate Level or a Foundation Studies Program, Technical (such as TAFE), Business or Vocational College.

Business English

          This course aims to provide students the fundamental skills regarding business filed such as business speaking skills, formal business writing and business terminology by using the variety of teaching and learning methods which can be adapted to be used in real life.


IELTS Preparation

          The IELTS program is designed to develop the specific language skills of students preparing to take the IELTS Examination. This program targets the Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking competencies that are required to successfully complete the 4 examination modules involved in the IELTS exam.
